@Token Almost all of my songs use lossy codecs actually. It's more of a time thing than an audiophile thing. I don't want to spend the time converting all of my music. Besides, once from CD to MP3 is plenty of data lost. MP3 to AAC is even more. Ripping all of my CDs again would take forever. I personally don't like the iTunes interface either. That's it, really.
@armoredghor Well, AAC seemed to perform worse than LAME MP3 in a number of listening tests but it's all very subjective at the end of the day. You can find tests which support it and tests which don't. If you already use AAC then there's no big reason to convert everything.
AAC,I will prefer that kind of format if the SD card has lots of space for it.
