Topic: (SOLVED) 3DS Restarts After Exiting Certain Games

Hi again, everyone. My new-to-me 3DS has a bit of an issue. I've noticed that it restarts after exiting some games (not suspending it, actually quitting the game), and I was wondering why this is.

Edit: after recording I found out that it doesn't do this with every title, I was able to get Mario Kart 7 to work perfectly fine so it might just be a couple games. I'll try the rest of my games later and see what games I have problems with.

It could be games that require extra horsepower.

Basically, since you have a non-New model, if you play something demanding (like Smash Bros or Pokemon Sun and Moon, etc), the games will go and yoink the processing power that the 3DS would usually reserve for some background processes and web-browsing.

Once you close the game, it will restart to refresh things and go back to normal.
