Topic: 3DS Hardware Issue: Moving D-Pad

Recently (within the past three months or so), the D-Pad on my model CTR-001(USA) 3DS, which I purchased back in August of 2011, has been moveable a little, and I'm afraid something may happen to it. It can very obviously be wiggled around in any of the corners, and I was wondering if this meant I have a defective product or something like that (the same thing has happened on my Wii U GamePad, too). What should I do? Should I call Nintendo, or is this a non-issue? Has this happened to anyone else's 3DS?

Any on-topic response would, as always, be greatly appreciated.

The best bet is to call Nintendo. Better to send it and do something else for 10 days than to have it break. They'll fix it up and you'll be done.

@6ch6ris6 I don't trink so. It never has happened with any of my Wii Remotes, nor has it happened to my Wii U Pro Controller. It has only happened to both my 3DS and Wii U GamePad.

On my 3DS, a lot, it is VERY noticeable. On my Wii U GamePad, however, it's just barely there.

Hmm... on my 3DS, the D-pad has some room to move around, but it doesn't feel loose... You might want to think about getting it fixed. The Wii U one sounds like it's fine still.

@Gloku It's not like it actually affects playability, but that it just looks completely wrong. I personally think that it is bad craftsmanship/design, how about you?
