Because the games that were deleted are from Club Nintendo.

If you downloaded the games once in the past, I believe that should be free to download again on the Eshop.. also make sure you're even using the right SD card.

All nintendo can do is disable an account.. they can't remove/crash hacked 3DS systems and already downloaded games.. once the games have been downloaded they must be manually removed, it's not possible for them.

Although if you believe it is something with your nintendo account (I could be wrong with the above statement I just don't see how..) you can try calling them (Cya in 3 years!)

Is it possible that Nintendo now has control over games through Club Nintendo? Club Nintendo can be linked to the NNID, and games can be controlled from there. I think we ran into this possible scenario.

Club Nintendo games >>> 3DS downloads the game >>> NNID recognizes that the game was a CN game is now tied to that particular account.

I'm guessing that Nintendo took these actions.

CN account was deactivated >>> NNID recognizes the account was deactivated >>> NNID deletes games given through CN.

If this is true, then I'm not going to be very happy.

Is there anything we can get away with anymore these days?

It's not gone, it's deactivated. I can't re download them. I must've disobeyed ther term of use by having multiple Club Nintendo accounts. Hah. Took them long enough to find out.

Is there a way to convince them to reactivate my accounts? I don't care about the games, I just want my coins back.

Register more than once? What if each person in my family has an account?

Did you use the same code more than once or do you only have multiple accounts?

You guys give (American) Club Nintendo way too much credit.

Remember that it is a promotional site used by a relatively small portion of their total user base, they really can't do much with it.

Much less use it to delete your games remotely... Right?

I thought CN won't let you create another account if you type in the same address that already has an active account. Or did you circumvent it by adding a letter at the end the numerical part of the address. (e.g. 1000A, 1000B, etc.)

Well, now that NNID's can be tied to a CN account, they can do a whole more with it. I'm only theorizing, though. But my explanation seems the most logical at this time.

I'm thinking brewsky might be right. Why did you have multiple accounts? The family account is basically the same thing.

I didn't know about the family account thing until now. Plus, all 4 of the accounts are platinum.

If it was his handheld having issues that caused the deletion (which it now seems isn't the case) which if nobody had found a solution to this issue besides it being chalked up to that and it needs to be replaced last I knew you couldn't just simply re-download the titles onto another handheld. Sorry was half asleep and forgot to link that second part of the statement. I remember the hassle it was dealing with this in the past when I had original 3ds unit issues and most recently when My Yoshi 3dsxl crapped out (which is the reason I don't use the eshop anymore unless it's free)

Back on topic though OP did you get any further with Nintendo on this?

And second why the no multiple accounts rule? I know for example PSN has master and sub accounts but you can create multiple main accounts without issue to my knowledge.

Let us all know how this works out with Nintendo OP I for one am very curious how Nintendo handles it.

The thing is that Club Nintendo is not like the PSN account or the NNID.

If you register to Club Nintendo, it is to receive complimentary goodies. Creating multiple accounts to reach platinum multiple times is not fair for the company and other users.
