Topic: 2DS Soft Case/Cover/Jacket Recommendations

I am looking for a soft case, cover, or jacket for an old model Nintendo 2DS to purchase.

So far I have come to the conclusion that one of the better options would be the PDP 2DS soft silicone jacket, however this item is not available currently. Other options that I have seen appear to be fairly loose fitting, which is a trait that I do not want on a soft cover.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a 2DS soft case that is not a loose fit?

The official nintendo-made 2DS case is really good.

@Meowpheel Is that the carrying case where you just place your 2DS inside and then zip it up to protect?

Yes, it's soft and it has three pockets for DS/3DS games.

@Meowpheel I've considered that before since it seems well padded and does offer extra screen protection, but I still get the nagging feeling that in the long run it might be a hassle to open and close (as strange as thay sounds). I guess overall I still prefer a more "traditional" cover for the 2DS, even if it's not exactly first party. Any other suggestions?

It's actually a pretty natural movement once you get used to it, the zipper is a really good quality one.

The one other 2DS case I ever used was this one and it badly scratched the back of my system, so I don't recommend it at all.

I'll look into the carrying case, but I'm still leaning towards more of a case that is soft, not loose fitting, and covers the 2DS (not in a bag or pouch style). So hopefully more suggestions come up in time.
