To anyone who says that "nobody is holding you at guntpoint and telling you to buy Nintendo", it 100% reminds me Xbox situation.
Here where i live Xbox 360 was EXTREMELY popular, to the point that I once went on Xbox 360 themed vacations with Xbox 360 in my backpack. At the time Microsoft was super friendly to gamers and Xbox 360 was mighty success.
Then Xbox One was released, the new boss, Don Mattrick was anticonsumer scumbag, kept saying exactly that "if you dont like it then dont buy it" and "everything is digital and you will love that".
Guess what happend? Xbox One lost all userbase and Microsoft was never able to replicate Xbox 360 success again.
