Re: Sega Tops Metacritic's 2020 Publisher Rankings, Nintendo Squeezes Into Top Ten

@GannonBanned Yeah I’m a huge Nintendo fan, but a bigger Sega fan, and is Sega fans have suffered for years, it really was about time SEGA returned to making quality products. I think a strong SEGA is great for the industry and great for Nintendo, they do work together quite a lot these days and if Nintendo can bury the hatchet and work with an old foe, then Ninty fans should be happy about SEGA’s success last year. You all own a switch right? If Nintendo isn’t going to give you the best they can at least SEGA can, and you can play SEGA on switch so it’s win win for Sega, Sega fans and Nintendo fans. Nintendo unfortunately phoned in last year and that’s just a fact. I would love to see Sega and Nintendo in first and second place just like the old days. I expect Nintendo may be developing in secret for their possible console (Switch Pro) which would explain how quiet it has been on the Nintendo front last year (and this year). They will be saving their heavy hitters for the next console launch I expect......

@Kidfunkadelic83 you hit the nail on the head about cross saves. I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday, portability is cool but having to play the game twice is not a great option (it’s too massive). Cross saves for big screen fun on the PS/XB and being able to take your adventure with you on the train etc would be amazing......for us as players and for Nintendo/third party publishers profits. As you said even on its reduced form its an amazing experience and Switch owners who don’t have a decent PC or alternative consoles definitely should pick up this masterpiece on Switch.

Re: New Study Says External Issues Are More Likely To Blame For Gaming Addiction, Not Gaming Itself

wiiada

Such a stupid debate, so binge watching with a remote control Netflix isn’t a disorder, but replace the remote with a controller and all of a sudden they try to classify it as a disorder......some people have an addictive personality and will look for escapes from life be it fishing, or video games, obsessive cleaning or being a dirty pig, obviously games, nor is the TV or cleaning are not the problem, these people would seek another avenue of escape if video games were never invented......creating non existent mental disorders and developing treatments for a non existent condition is not the way to help these people....perhaps identifying the real issues and giving real treatment is the answer......ah the modern world, as blur says.....modern life is rubbish lol but it dealt have to be, if only human social evolution could keep pace with technological evolution........ video games are not an addictive drug.......why do we the people respect these over paid ridiculous professionals? Always complicating the simple so they seem smarter......

I have this one my XBONEX and switch as well as switch lite and tbh, it’s plays just as well on the switch lite as it does on the XBONEX and looks fantastic on the lites smaller screen, it’s a very impressive portable experience, and visually at least on the lites small screen it looks stunning and not far from the XBONEX version. However, and I stress this fact, the Switch is not the place to play the Witcher if you want to play on a TV.....it runs fine,
but on a TV compared to the XBONEX, the Switch version looks like fat pimple ridden ass.......unlike Dragon Quest on Switch that looks almost as good as the one I have on my ps4 pro, with better music and more features. As impressive as the Witcher port is, the Dragon Quest port is much better.......

Re: There Are Switch Docks, And Then There's This Zelda: Link's Awakening Switch Dock

wiiada

It looks awesome, but why not design it so that the entire dock fits into the diorama rather than just the Switch?.......to get rid of the messy cords between the two docks and have it as one neat and tidy integrated unit that houses and hides the black dock and console.......kinda like how the the light up Pokemon Switch dock houses the actual switch dock.....but better cause it would hide the Switch and dock....like a dock dock I guess lol 😂 I’d buy that 😀

@gamefreak77 Ummm the Wii U although a commercial failure actually sold between 10 and 15 million units, around 13 million actually......I’m not sure why you think that it “didn’t even reach 1 million households”.......he deserves enormous respect for this mans legacy is unparalleled in the world of gaming 😊 He saved the company his was allowed the odd mis-step. RIP Iwata.
