@Chaoz Well they have been changing and removing religious references in the localized version. The in-game organization B.L.A.D.E. stands for Beyond the Logos Artificial Destiny Emancipator in the Japanese version but got localized to Builders of the Legacy After the Destruction of Earth. The Union in the game got their name Testament changed to Reclaimers. There also been reports of crosses and other religious iconography being removed from the game.
Why don't you talk about the actual censorship of the game Nintendo Life, the removal of religious imagery and names from the game? B.L.A.D.E. stands for Beyond the Logos Artificial Destiny Emancipator in the Japanese version by gets localized to Builders of the Legacy After the Destruction of Earth. The organization Testament changed to Reclaimers. Crosses and other religious iconography has been altered. And then you have stupid stuff like in the game like Moby Dick being changed to White Whale. And there is a ton of other name changes in the game. Like Unions being changed to Divisions for reason. And with the Unions all the names have been changed : Avalanche changed to Harriers, Companion changed to Mediators, Arms changed to Outfitters, Land Bank changed to Prospectors, Testament changed to Reclaimers.
Anyway removing the bust slider is just stupid. I feel sorry for female players of the game wanting to represent themselves in the game. Not everyone has a B cup. It's literally anti-body positivity. At least out of all things they changed in the game, this is easiest to add back in.
Anyway, 8-4, the localization team behind XCX has a history removing features of games due to laziness and incompetence. Like in the Japanese version of Fire Emblem Awakening, there was a Silent Protagonist option so your character didn't speak at all and was at the background of the story like most other FE games. It was most likely removed as it would require extra translation work.
