@JamesCoote Unity is very code-based, supporting C#, JavaScript and Boo. As a developer who started programming BASIC on my old Commodore 64, I'm sure both frameworks have their advantages. My point is simple - Unity and Unreal support a lot more platforms and porting games over to other platforms is nothing compared to how it used to be done. If the creator of the game wanted to support WiiU, he could have chosen a framework for that. Don't give me - " WiiU is too hard to port over"
Well, I'd hate to criticize a lone indie developer, but if he used a common development tool like Unity that supported multiple platforms, then there would be no need to port over to WiiU. I don't know why he went with MonoGame - it doesn't even support Playstation, according to their web site.
