@PuppyToucher That's the thing. I'm on my 3DS quite a bit. I usually play on the commute into and home from work, which is about 30-40 minutes each way. I generally take it with me 2-4 nights a week, with either a book or my hacked PSP coming the other days. So I generally game anywhere from 2-4 hours a week on it.
Probably will do the Wii U version, just for the DDP points. But it's still frustrating.
Until we get crossbuy (and true crossbuy, not what they offer with the Squids game), the Eshop is always going to lag behind Xbox and Sony's digital offerings. Both companies offer a lot more in terms of quantity (and therefore quality) and in the case of Sony, there's plenty of crossbuy there.
I'd love to buy Shovel Knight, but can't decide which system to buy it for. That indecision has kept me from buying it, despite having over $17 in my eshop account for a while now. Wouldn't be an issue if it was a buy it once and play it on 3DS and Wii U.
@Magrane It was called Baseball Stars, which I would kill for on the 3DS or Wii U. I had RBI Baseball, Bases Loaded and Baseball Stars back in the day and the latter was my favorite. I still own the cart in fact.
Keep in mind that I'd played the other incarnations of the series, and it's still my favorite. The Create-a-team and create-a-player modes were ahead of their time, and the hiring/firing screens were terrific.
This feels like the third week in a row that the VC games have been the same on both systems. I feel like they are trolling the people who want Cross buy here.
"A fun baseball game for the 3DS that anyone can play! Customize your team and aim for a home run! This is a fun, full-scale baseball game that anyone can easily enjoy, with a 3D display that makes it easy to control. Enjoy 3 different game modes including Tournament, Exhibition and Custom. Tournament play consists of 7 teams. Defeat your opponents and aim for the championship. In Exhibition, you can select any team and play a quick game. You can also enjoy Network Matched via Download or Local Play. In Custom Mode you can customize your players in many ways including their names and even their appearance. There are 5 different ability types including defensive and offensive-oriented types, so you can configure your team exactly how you want. You can also attach pictures from the internal camera to a player so you can model them after yourself and have them compete. Enjoy baseball anywhere, and at anytime on the 3DS!"
@cyrus_zuo Amen. Create-a-team, create-a-player, stat tracking, 125 game seasons were all revolutionary back then. And I believe would still be revolutionary, at least on the 3DS lol.
I might consider this though, as desperate as I am for baseball to go.
Why can't we get something like this but baseball or football (American version) in the U.S.? I'd settle for soccer, but still, why don't we get anything like this? Sports offerings are so sparse on Nintendo consoles it's ridiculous.

@XCWarrior Yeah, I hope so too. Gonna wait on some reviews first though.
Re: Arc Style: Baseball 3D Is Up to Bat on 3DS Next Week
@Depeche Power Pros 14 would be great, provided it wasn't gimped like the DS version a few years back.

@Windy And we shall name you guinea pig.

That's a lot of dropped balls.

Here's some info from Nintendo's site.

Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition (Wii U eShop)
@memoryman3 I liked it. Played it all the way to completion.
Re: Rusty's Real Deal Baseball Gets Into the Swing of the 3DS eShop on 3rd April
I'm a big baseball fan, but I'd rather have Pocket Football Club. This does not look like it will scratch the baseball itch for me.
Re: Preview: Mario Golf: World Tour
@arnoldrobinsonj From your lips to Nintendo's ears. I was disappointed to see that the new RBI baseball game made no mention of the 3DS.
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th February (North America)
@Depecheold That would be awesome. Hopefully the new RBI Baseball comes out for the 3DS as well.
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th February (North America)
@Depecheold Are you in my head? Every club Nintendo survey for a VC game I ask for Baseball Stars.
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th February (North America)
I believe Picard sums up my feelings best.
