@WolfyWardark people have terrible memories and think that every game always ran at 60fps. Perfect Dark was one of the worst performing N64 games back in the day, with frame dips down to 1fps during heated matches. Literally every issue this article describes is just a complaint with the technical issues that plagued the og 2000 cartridge.
I know right now it's in vogue to ***** on literally anything Nintendo does or says, but the issues described in this report on the NSO version of PD, were very much in the original N64 version. Frame rates? Perfect Dark is infamous for having some of the worst frame rates on N64. The N-Bomb dizzy effect being "broken" is literally how it was on 64. At no point has anyone ever wanted that weapon in Combat Simulator matches. Can't speak to the online matchmaking, even COD every year suffers from connection issues and latency day 1. Most people here are just here for the "haha nintendo sucks at emulation" jeers, but the reality is this is basically a 1:1 port of the original game.
