@Cyberbotv2 ubisoft has been a hit and miss Starlink battle for atlas cant be played without downloading the rest of the game, and the game could fit on 16gb cartridge so they cheapned out and got with 8gb + download
Assassins creed 3 collection they put the main games liberatin and AC3 on cart but the AC3 dlc had to be downloaded from the web wich is like 6+gb
So yeah they dont have the best track record specialy with the whole starlink fiasco, chepening out on a 13gb game without using 16gb cart for complete on cart was BS.

lol call me uninformed when you are the one uninformed...
FFX is 14gb alone while x-2 is 12.9gb they together are roughly 27 gb.
jap release is also a download code, asian release is for china and other asian countrys besides japan and they even have english cover. So yeah check your facts before saying others are wrong... (if FFx/x-2 was 14gb total then all regions would have everything on cart lol)
And no im not making stuff up developers stated that 32gb cart is very expensive and while up until 8gb the carts are roughly the price of dual layered bluray, 16gb are already abit more than the dual layered blurays and the 32gb ones is more than double price of the dual layered blurays, that is the reason they dont use it. I remenber an interview with one developer probably even on this page during a switch first year.Prices only match blurays until 8gb after that they loose profit margin.
Not that is matters since they are being greedy here
red faction guerrila remarstered switch is 13.8gb which means it has a 16gb cartridge and costs 30$ physical release with everything on cart, same for dragon dogma which is 12.1gb and it has a 30$ physical release with everything on cart and so on, there are alot of 30 euros 16gb releases out there, if they used the 16gb one atleast people would only need to download afew gbs.
@gigawhat what th hella are you smoking? switch has 32 gb carts since launch for developers, dragon quest heroes 1+2 japan only on release day was put on a 32gb cartridge, final fantasy x/x-2 asian english release uses a 32gb cartridge so its both games on one cartridge, and upcoming withcer 3 is confirmed to use a 32gb cartridge and the entire game in it, developers have since day one the chance to use them but they dont becuase they say it cuts their profits, please dont spread fake facts lol the cart that will only be available in 2020 is the 64 gb one.
