I don't care so much about the awards (the presenters at these awards shows are always so cringey and the acceptance speech that Christopher Judge gave was WAY too long). I am all about the trailers.
With that being said, I did not see Hades II coming and that alone made the show for me. The original is one of my favorite games, so I am excited to see how the sequel holds up.
Edit: I am not into Bayonetta, but the new game looked interesting. I give the show a B overall.
I’m new to the Xenonlade universe but picked up 3 when it launched (I read the stories for 1 and 2).
It might just be that I am only a few hours in but, while the story has been interesting, the combat seems…boring. Am I missing something or does it get better a little further into the game?
Like the majority of you, I’m going to have to go with the GameCube as #1. The Nintendo Switch is a close #2. And, while I never owned an OG Game Boy, that’s gonna come in at #3.
@Yosher I feel the same way. Before I voted, I thought for sure Japan would be running away with this one. I would even put the NA cover ahead of Europe (it’s Zelda, you’ve gotta have the gold).
@sanderev You are right, it doesn’t have to be the same week. The only console I own is a Switch so, while I do follow industry news in general, the Nintendo news is most important to me. I’ll take whenever I can get it!
I am fairly new to the Pokemon world so I have a question: what is the benefit to buying the double-pack?
My understanding is that, traditionally, both versions of a Pokemon game are the same minus the legendary Pokemon. Is that the only difference? If so, I can't imagine buying two games just to get one extra Pokemon, legendary or not.

@Bablommebite That sounds like an awesome Saturday!

@MikeSpags This. If we are bringing back reader mail (which is awesome), let’s go all the way and bring back reader art, too.

@Kazman2007 Oh, how I miss Tricky!

Re: Round Up: All The Games From Nintendo's Indie World Showcase - November 2022
@Jackpaza0508 I played the Storyteller demo on Steam a while ago (it's still available) and I thought it was great. I can't wait for it to come out.
I have Inscryption on PC and, while I haven't finished it yet, it is definitely a trip.
Overall, I really enjoyed this presentation. I added eight games to my wish list (we will see how many stick).

Honorable (non-Nintendo) mention: the Genesis!
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #82 - Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
This one was tough. Having never played the game, both covers are foreign to me.
While the NA cover seems to covey the “tilting” aspect better, the Japanese cover has more charm so I went with it.
Re: Following Its Delay, Say No! More Says "Yes" To A Switch Launch Next Month
I enjoyed the trailer but the game is definitely not for me.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #11 - Final Fight
I saw the Japanese cover first and thought, “well, this will probably be the worst of the bunch.”
I ended up voting for the Japanese cover.

Looking forward to this one. Hoping for a good review.

Re: E3 Reportedly Set To Be Rebranded As A "Fan, Media And Influencer Festival" Next Year
As long as there is still a Nintendo Direct that week, that I can watch from the comfort of my home, that’s all I care about.
Re: Video: Contra: Rogue Corps Has A Demo And It Isn't Co-Op
I gave the demo a try and didn’t care for it. The art style looked generic and the controls weren’t as smooth as I would have liked.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #4 - River City Ransom / Street Gangs
This one goes to Japan by a long shot. The NA cover does nothing for me and the European cover is dreadful.
