I'm between a 9 and 10, on the lower side so put a 9. I've adored my first play through and currently going though on hard mode. Obviously is a visual showcase and the soundtrack really hits. The G-Feds don't bother me. Seen all the complaints about hand holding but for me this the interaction is barely different to the "hints" given in Prime Remaster - despite b-lining straight to Hive Mecha at the start of the game I can't get there before the suit is trying to tell me to go there - and its akin to what the AU's in Prime 3 were like. I actually enjoyed the desert, I was sceptical at first when I saw the bike, but it felt great to drive and I enjoyed the puzzel shrines, and I appreciate how it makes the world feel larger and more real. The piece that is maybe missing for missing for me abit is that the locations feel a bit small, it may be perception thing because of the structure where you explore 90%+ on your first visit, but I was missing the feeling of finding an upgrade a revisiting a location to access a whole new part of it that was previously unaccessible. One of the areas had a bit of it but I'd have liked more. That and maybe more large puzzles akin to the plasma beam puzzle in 1. But my ultimate feel was gratitude to Nintendo & Retro (& others) making this, this has bern my number 1 game series since the original came out and this really scratched an itch for me. Thanks.

Thank you Tanabe-san. The Metroid Prime games fantastic experiences and I'm grateful to have experienced them in my lifetime.
