@grumblebuzzz I would troll them hard. Take the opportunity to have fun with them, especially if you want to kill time before going to school or work :3
I don't understand what people were expecting out of the new games from a graphical standpoint. NSMBU isn't going for SUPER HD TURBO GRAFIX MAXIMUM. It's supposed to be simple. It's the simple look it's going for. It just looks much more crisper and cleaner- that's it. I do love how the backgrounds are much more beautiful and detailed. That Boo level is phenomenal and gorgeous.
It was underwhelming. They really shouldn't have had Ubisoft and Warner Bros. on stage- particularly Ubisoft since they already had their show. Then again, if they didn't, then it would have been a shorter presentation.
My biggest issue with both Nintendo and Microsoft is that they highlight "casual" games. People who watch E3 are gamers. The casuals probably and most likely don't even know what E3 is. Showing WiiFitU was a bad idea.
Though, this 1 hour briefing isn't stopping me from getting WiiU. I'm totally open to Nintendo Land and already have almost 10 games on my radar for WiiU so far something I couldn't even say the same for Wii or even 3DS near launch. I think the games launching alongside the console are stellar and cover all bases. Best launch-line up since Sega Dreamcast.
I like how I can check up on things happening with my friends on my phone. And glad that it isn't dedicated to just smartphones- but ANY phone that has a web browser.
Well, you can always use your Classic Controller Pro- maybe. Now that the buttons click.. Hm, not sure. But I like it. I just need to have it in my hands to judge and see if it'll be good for my Smash Bros. 4 :3
You should check out the amazing MOTHER4 Fan project. It looks so.. official. And it's cool that Itoi looked at it and hopes to play it himself when it's done.
Anyhow, lots of surprises in store at E3 for Nintendo. I think the weakest is going to be Microsoft. Sony has lots of potential with more announcements for Vita and PS3. Microsoft? Meh, more 3rd party software that's accross all platforms anyways and not much of any exclusives/1st party. Starting the conference with Black Ops 2... Oh man, how exciting... When that's available on other platforms anyhow. Maybe they'll surprise me, but I'm not holding my breath for that.
I don't want a new IP just yet. Nintendo has a backlog of franchises and series that need the attention they deserve. Hell, I want to see a new Ice Climbers game- albeit a small revival on eShop/WiiU Shop. A multiplayer-modernized Balloon Fight.. Star Fox, Metroid. How about a new Baten Kaitos (not sure if Nintendo owns the franchise since they did buy most shares of Monolith but I think Namco owns the rights).
I'd say focus on bringing old IPs to life and worry about brand new ones later that are relatively like Mario or Zelda in terms of scale.
I still think it's coming. They've been keeping silent on it for such a long time- if there are no plans at all, we would have known by now. MML3 anyone? Then again, that was a cancellation..
I stick by "If TvC was localized with all the hurdles Capcom had to jump over, MHTriG should be released world wide".
I don't want to hear the "business and market" excuse, either.
Hope it's 2D. I loved Lament of Innocence for PS2 being that it was the first Castlevania game I played, but I really liked the DS game "Portrait of Ruin".
Whoa... Is that a new model of the 3DS? Bigger screen...?
Design looks like DSi fused with 3DS. And you can see the "ornamented" slide pad.. Please let this be true. I want my 3DS to be like the DSi in regards to how it feels as well as the d-pad and FLAT screen (no gap like there already is on 3DS).
@FonistofCruxis The person forgot to mention Inafune leaving the project he initially started that Capcom did not want to work on in the first place right in the middle of it. That's a very important piece of information these people seem to miss or just plainly want to ignore because the truth is really really ugly, now, huh?
At least in Smash Bros there's SMB2 references in regards to Peach's moveset... But I wouldn't mind a sequel to this game. I really liked how different it was.

Re: Tomb Raider Not Coming to Wii U
Can check it out on PS3. No big loss. Would have been nice to have it on my U instead of my brother's PS3 though..
Re: E3 2012: 3DS Software Showcase Trailer Round-Up
That was back in 2010. From the looks of the recent look of 2011 and 2012, looks like there are no partners :/
Re: Peter Molyneux 'Not Really Decided' on Wii U GamePad
They said the same thing about DS.
Hun, you need the skills you so lack and be more adaptive.

Re: Nintendo to Offer Triple Layer of Miiverse Moderation
When it comes to PUBLIC, yes, moderate them. But when it comes to my friends on my list, ANYTHING goes :3
Re: Bowser and Bison Join Wreck-It Ralph in Therapy
Looks very entertaining.
Re: Reggie: Retro's Hard at Work, Won't Say More

Re: E3 2012: New Super Mario Bros. Wii U Screenshot Comparison
I'm not surprised they look mostly the same.

No one is forcing you to play as Miis. Sheesh.

Re: E3 2012: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Jumps onto 3DS 19th August
The problem I see with this game is that it'll be easy to get 1ups. FAR easier...
Also.. Why is this under New Super Mario Bros U? lol

Re: Talking Point: Reviewing Nintendo's E3 Press Conference
The worst part that I'm trying to scrub off my mind is when the game "Sing" came up. WTF. Particularly of the song played.
I. Hate. that. Song. So much!
As soon as the lyrics popped on the screen, my mind was "...Nintendo.. No.. Please don't do it.. Nintendo! Don't!!!" D:
I try so hard to avoid that song and the LAST place I wanted to hear it was at their press conference.
Re: E3 2012: Nintendo Land to Show Off the GamePad
I saw Game and Watch- the Octopus game...
Re: E3 2012: LEGO City Undercover Infiltrates Wii U, 3DS
I love it. Not sure which to get. Loads of great games...
Re: E3 2012: Ubisoft Shows Off Rayman Legends for Wii U
Wow, another exclusive for WiiU. Ubisoft is really pulling their weight on support for WiiU

So much to look forward to.
Re: E3 2012: Wii U Pro Controller Offers More Options
@ChocoGoldfish
It's not a hardware add-on.
It's an option. Weren't you leading people on having options? What's the problem now?
Re: Reaction: Nintendo Finally Arrives Online with Wii U
Nintendolife should strike a deal with Nintendo to tie NL accounts with Nintendo Network.
I'm sure TBD and James could persuade them, right?
Re: E3 2012: Prepare to Enter the Miiverse
@6ch6ris6
You heard wrong. He was talking about Nintendo Network on WiiU, 3DS and future Nintendo platforms.
Re: E3 2012: Your First Look at Super Mario Bros. on Wii U
I love the background too. So.. Otherworldly. Hope it doesn't distract me too much.
Re: E3 2012: Prepare to Enter the Miiverse
I'm hoping 3DS will have something like MiiVerse all interconnected for 3DS games. The only way to access Miiverse on 3DS is through the browser.

Re: 3DS Patent Covers Vibrating Stylus, New Kinds of Control
Really neat. Wonder what types of games could use this.
Re: Nintendo Download: 31st May 2012 (North America)
I'm guessing Dreamland 2 and another spinoff (Star Stacker) will roll out Tuesday as celebration of Kirby's 20th.

And its using Nintendo Network. Anyhow, looking forward to it.
Re: Feature: The Best Moments of E3 2011
@BenAv
Same here. There was some psuedo-3D effect to it (especially Kid Icarus Uprising when Pit floated towards the camera).
I can't wait for this E3. Next week is going to be huge!

Re: Rumour: Castlevania Title in Development for 3DS

Diablo 3 and maybe Mario Tennis Open....

So, just PS3 and 3DS... Interesting..
Kinda would expect PS3 and Vita..
Re: Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now
It's interesting how you can delete the update... But you still can't play online without it haha.
Back to MK7!
Re: Nintendo Japan Discontinues Aqua Blue 3DS
I prefer the cobalt color but I still love my Aqua Blue 3DS.
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
This is the only "Dreamland" game (and Returns to Dreamland) I have yet to play. I have to get on the Returns though... Gah!!!

Re: Rumour: Retro Studios Preparing Star Fox Wii U Reveal
Didn't they say they were working on something everyone wanted them to work on?
Star Fox or F-Zero would be the franchises they are most likely working on.
Re: Rumour: This is Wii U's Controller Charging Dock
Looks legit to me.
Re: Feature: Three reasons Why Mario's Next Adventure Should Visit Subcon
At least in Smash Bros there's SMB2 references in regards to Peach's moveset... But I wouldn't mind a sequel to this game. I really liked how different it was.
