@DESS-M-8 Your bar is set quite low. We are in 2016 and well into the gaming Era where people want to be fully immersed in games and many also want the full virtual reality experience. I was fine with Wii U graphics but hated that few developers supported it. I don't want a repeat of that. It needs to be at the very least at Xbox1 levels (the original not S and not Scorpio) or it'll happen again.
I love Nintendo but honestly they need to cater to the core of gamers. We do want fun games for sure but we also like the new technology and graphical capabilities really does matter. Nintendo can't keep playing the game the same way. It isn't working out well for them that way. The mobile and home console hybrid is a nice idea except if it's really weak on the home console front then developers will not make games for it. Not even being able to match xbox1 and ps4 levels is just bad business. Those systems are 3 years old now so their is no excuse. I am a die hard Nintendo fan but honestly I hope they learn from their mistakes or pretty soon our Nintendo systems will be considered antiques for when Nintendo use to be in the video game industry.
I have never been a fan of Mine craft. The concept is awesome but the visuals are just too pc-dos Era graphics to me and I just don't like it. It is amazing how long that game has been around and how greatly it has influenced the gaming industry. Myamoto has done just fine without it but the fact that he expressed such fondness and respect to Mojang for creating it makes me love him even more.
VC for the Switch is not very important to me. Would be great to have but if they do include it for GC it needs to be priced no more $10 a game. That would be 3 generations old by the time Switch is out so charging more than that is crazy when a lot of wii u games are like $30 now. So far I think Nintendo pricing on virtual console games is pretty ridiculous as it is.
@Not_Soos A lot of wii u games are already in the eshop so why would you want them in the VC library as well? That's redundant. Just keep your Wii U and don't expect every single game on prior generation Nintendo consoles (Wii U) to be in the Switch VC.
This is great news and I think many of us have been wanting this to happen for some time now. I honestly feel that Nintendo could make their own theme park all on their own with all the IPs they have but I'll take this and trust that Nintendo thought about that and decided this was a better way. They want to stay focused on games but explore other avenues of entertainment and I am good with that. I grew up with Nintendo and I love that they don't forget about young children who still want the Nintendo I grew up with. I want them to evolve but to never forget about the children and younger aged folks.
16 GB is the standard but not the limit so I am OK with that. I'm more concerned about the dock being a useless piece of plastic. If the switch uses usb-c and hdmi connections then why even make a dock and force the screen to be covered? Makes no sense when we could theoretically just use cords and not cover the screen at all. I am really hoping the dock does more than just hold the switch in place otherwise I may rethink purchasing this system. I am not a portable gamer, I am a couch or bed gamer so gaming mobile is not important to me but capabilities are very important to me. Nintendo better hope they aren't giving 3rd parties reasons to skip the Switch.

Re: Radiantflux: Hyperfractal Will Be Hacking Your Wii U Later This Month
So sad that Wii U is flooded with these low level 8 bit looking games.
