Keep in mind, if you create a Japanese account your News Feed app will be full of Japanese News/Ads/Updates. They throw ALOT of stuff out there, much more than the US anyways. Not only that but the only way to get rid of it is to format the system. Saves are thankfully restored but you have to download and update everything again. I did this for Dragon Quest and found out the hard way.
Little late...they've already updated Gateway to work on 9.5 it looks like lol. Theres also another card that was unaffected at all by the firmware update.
Lol at all the idiots that have no idea how this works or what has already been out there for months now. Hate to tell you guys, but its already too late for Nintendo to do much.
