I have the Wii version that came out a couple years ago (and is largely identical to this version, judging from this review), and it's a well-made, faithful adaptation that can be quite a bit of fun if you're a fan of the show. It's not a brilliant gaming experience, but it's certainly not shovelware.
Great game, great soundtrack. As long as you go in with an open mind, and aren't expecting a gameplay experience as deep as World of Goo, you'll find a lot to like about Little Inferno.
F-Zero GX is the best racing game I've ever played. Maybe expand the Story Mode a little more, put in a 20 or 30 player online mode, and that's all the change you would need for a sequel.
This game is so good. I think most people who say it lacks gameplay depth have only played through Normal Mode, which is advertised as being good for casual gamers. Alternate Mode is where the meat of this game's creativity and challenge resides.
A lot of the negative comments I've been seeing about the game now concern the controls. I think a problem people are having is that Mario Kart has had essentially the same controls/physics since Mario Kart DS, meaning that they're really used to them. Just because this game controls radically differently does not make it bad. It just takes some getting used to (but it seems like people aren't willing to put in the necessary amount of time when they have Mario Kart 7 to go to).
This is one of my favorite Mario Kart games, if not my favorite. The game may not be as accessible for multiplayer as other entries, but it more than makes up for it with a robust single player offering. Trying to get star rankings in every cup on every engine size is incredibly challenging, something I never managed to do on the original cartridge. And this game existed before the era of complete item chaos that Double Dash started, making the game more skill-based than future entries.
This is my favorite 2D Metroid, and my favorite game on the GBA. And the review is spot on: I've played through this game countless times on the original cartridge, so I thought one playthrough on the 3DS would be sufficient for now. But I almost immediately started up a new file after completing my first one the other day, and finished it in one sitting! For me, this game is the definition of addicting. The action is fast-paced, and the bosses are just amazing.
The Minish Cap is a really fun game, but I think it pales in comparison to Link's Awakening and the Oracle games. The overworld design is superb, and I absolutely loved the idea of Kinstone fusion, but the dungeons are, for the most part, not that memorable, and the story does nothing compelling at all.
The video from GDC looked very incomplete and stiff, particularly with character animations, so I'm glad to hear it's looking good now. It's a shame no one could get any E3 video.
I don't get it. There are what? 4, 5 versions of Street Fighter II on the VC? What's the big deal releasing the Arcade Donkey Kong next to the NES one? I'd download the Arcade version in a second, but I haven't bothered with, nor will I bother with the NES one.
Maybe VC sales wouldn't be down if they released more than one killer app VC title every four months. Nintendo has plenty of games left in its back catalogue that could inject some more energy in the service. This is frustrating news, if true.
It's probably better than Galaxy, and if it's not better than World, it's right up there with it. I agree with deadly.by.design. Yoshi's Island is a piece of art.
This is one of the best platformers ever. It plays, looks, and sounds fantastic the entire way through. If it ever comes out on the VC, I'll download it immediately.
Yoshi's Island Super Mario Kart Star Fox Earthbound Pilotwings 64 Super Smash Bros. Mario Tennis Donkey Kong 64 Donkey Kong (Arcade) And Game Boy VC support, which in turn, would open up plenty more requests.

Re: The Legend of Zelda Oracle Titles Coming to Japanese 3DS Virtual Console
Fantastic! These are the two best 2D games in the series.

Re: Review: NightSky (3DS eShop)
Can't wait to get this game on my 3DS. It's a fantastic game!
What's the bottom screen used for? From the screenshots, it just looks like pretty scenery.
Re: Got Room for One More Version of Cave Story?
If this were any other game, I'd say it was ridiculous. But Cave Story is so good that I don't mind owning it in every way possible...
Re: That Zelda Timeline Makes a Bit More Sense Now
It is confirmed, by the way:

The timeline stuff starts at around 4:45.

Re: Catch a Live Stream of Symphonic Legends This Thursday Evening
This is 2pm in Eastern Standard Time, I think. If I'm right, I'll be able to listen!
Re: DSiWare Will Not Be Transferable Unless Nintendo Makes Changes
I'm going to smash something (but not my Wii! ) if I'm not able to transfer my VC / WiiWare games to the "Wii 2." That would be beyond absurd.

Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Please, God, don't let this happen.
Re: Review: Star Fox (Super Nintendo)
@Bulbasaurus Rex
SF64 is a remake only in the sense that it follows the same story (loosely) as Star Fox SNES. The levels are all completely different.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Game Boy)
I personally think both of the Oracle games are better than this, but there's no denying how impressive Link's Awakening truly is.

Yoshi's Island
Super Mario Kart
Star Fox
Earthbound
Pilotwings 64
Super Smash Bros.
Mario Tennis
Donkey Kong 64
Donkey Kong (Arcade)
And Game Boy VC support, which in turn, would open up plenty more requests.
