Hmmmm the title of this annoys me a bit, it made me think for a second there a physical was announced for regions other than Japan, which is all that really matters to me. I don't like digital for the most part and it costs too much for me to import to AUS.
I played the remake on my PS4, but I have always preferred CTR to Mario Kart, even as a child with the PS1 version and MK DS and Wii. The power and the feeling of weight when drifting is soooo much more satisfying to me than in MK. The adventure mode also give more direction and purpose when playing solo rather than just doing cups for the sake of it. Don't get me wrong, I love MK and have played it a lot but if I could only pick one, its CTR for me! Yes, loading times are waaay too long in the remake but I would rather wait a bit longer for something I enjoy more. The only thing MK easily beats CTR for me is beginner friendliness-- if I am playing with someone new, CTR mechanics are usually too complex to pick up right away, compared to MK8 where even if they're completely gameskill-less I can chuck them on baby steering mode and we can all have a good time.
Very keen for this! FF tactics has been on my to-play list ever since I got into Fire Emblem a few years ago, but I haven't gotten around to it as there wasn't a convenient way for me to play it.
@iNintendo It's been years since I played it, but I immensely enjoyed the original! So if you have a modded system so I'd say go ahead and give it a try, nothing to lose!
I'm really hoping this success has them reconsider a physical release. I have been dying for a Fantasy Life sequel since I played the original in 2016, but with no physical release I am giving this one a miss until a deep sale. With my backlog of games, no matter how keen I am to play it, I just can't justify spending $90AUD on a digital game. That's an INSANE price, $20 more than the current standard for switch games. Its not yet a switch 2 game (of which at over $100AUD I am priced out of for the foreseeable future) so why the $20 jump already?
I would love a port for switch 1, with prices of everything it will be a good few years before I upgrade to a switch 2 but WW or TP on the current switch would be an insta buy
It was pretty weak for my tastes. Which I didn't mind too much, I know there's stuff there that others will be excited about. And then I saw the prices of the console and games. YIKES. ~$104AUD for most games, which if they continue the Nintendo trend of NEVER going on sale, is absolutely ridiculous!! Yes, PS and Xbox are often that expensive and more, but you know if you just wait a bit they'll be heavily discounted. Nintendo games NEVER go down, $5 discount is the highest for 1st party switch games even 7 years after release.
If anything this is steering me in the direction of a steam deck, since I already have a large steam library with several games that my ancient PC just cannot handle. Which is a shame because i LOVE nintendo franchises.
OH, absolutely not!! This has killed any hype for the Switch 2 for me until there's a must play like a new zelda or Animal Crossing, and even then... Looking on Aussie websites, switch 2 games have jumped up by over $30AUD! $104 is NUTS for Nintendo, seeing as they NEVER go on sale for more than $5. And Mario Kart for $114AUD? No thanks, I'll stick with 8. I'm honestly glad there are no games announced that I'm that keen for, if this is how this generation is going to be. I'll stick with my backlog, thanks.
This was the first zelda game I ever played, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I think its also responsible for my slight preference towards top down zeldas over 3D ones
@Harmonie yeah i get that, im not opposed to the mismatched colours entirely but when its the ONLY option... and yeah the fact that they're only available for one side, I showed these to my sister and she loved the pink, hated the yellow and wished it could be paired with the purple. But it can't as they're both left only, and as I'm one of the few lucky ones who has experienced zero joycon drift I'm not likely to buy a new set unless the colours are perfect
I'm really enjoying ToTK so far, but no way. Three times is too many. Like someone else said, only if its WAY in the future and there's been a bunch of development and buildings. But even then, I'd prefer something new. Doesn't help also that I'm itching for a new 2D Zelda much more than anything else, so I'm not thinking AT ALL about what would come "after" TOTK.
Yoshi's Island, hands down! I'm still so unimpressed by the tour tracks, they're all so generic and feel pretty much the same: a road through a city. Personally I'd prefer to just not have them all together, or at least smushed into one cup together that I can just choose to never play.
I really really love the Majora's Mask one with the moon, and very much appreciate any themes where there is something moving/walking etc as you scroll through the icons
I know its never happening, but I still really wish we could just purchase the games :// i have essentially no interest in the rest of the online package besides the GBA stuff
I really have very little interest in this entry from everything I've seen...the artstyle hasn't grown on me at all, I still detest it, and nothing about the other aspects of the game are really grabbing me...Think I'll pass on this entry and just wait however many years for the next FE game
