To be honest FOMO didnt have an affect on me. Nostalgia and the lack of games available on the switch is what drove my purchase. But I get it. Buy it while you can. For old games that are not remastered or having any dlc. I thought the trio was a bit overpriced. I think $20 tops per game would've been fine but only if they could be made as seperate purchases.
I dont care for the update. Word is they will make the switch Bluetooth compatible too. Even though it already is without intent. Me and my girlfriend use our Sony Gold headsets on the switch. What they should be working on is the brightness. Its damn near impossible to play anything in the daylight. Same mistake that Sony made with the PSP and Vita. Fix whats broken seems logical but oh well.
