Re: Weirdness: SEGA Employee Has a Bad Day, Says Bayonetta 1 & 2 Are Almost "Exactly the Same"

Reporting from neogaf, loving dropped.
NeoGAF is an agenda Sony marketing web site run by a man named Tyler Malka.

According to 1up.com, Tyler Malka is "self employed" because of his earning from NeoGAF. But with no traditional means of monetization one has to wonder what is the true source of his revenue?

>And Malka, needless to say, is now self-employed

The true purpose of NeoGAF is to manipulate the market VIA word of mouth and using an army of sock puppets. They commonly use techniques like "down talking" and "running themes."

And when that doesn't work they simply resort to cyber bullying children.

Re: The Wonderful 101 Demo Coming to Europe Today

WOW the game is great, its like a Vietiful Joe successor x10.

There is a lot to the gameplay and controls that are gonna take a while to master. I guess the casual 'pick up and play' audience might have a problem with this.

Re: Wii U Hardware Still Being Sold At A Loss

Wanderlei

@Caryslan Except them selling the ps4 cheaper negates the machine being slightly cheaper than the ps3 was.

They made the ridiculous move of using expensive GDDR5 for system memory. It works great in a highly parallel system like a GPU, it runs like poopoocacadoodies in a highly linear system like a CPU. Unless Sony has literally made the biggest breakthrough in CPU/RAM architecture in the last 20 years then using GDDR5 RAM as system RAM is more bad than good.

Their main gimmick 'lets play' game streaming which will only have appeal to certain subset of gamers, which is also just a side feature of the microsoft machine.

Then there is their other gimmick of Gaikai which cost them $380 million. Then the costs off all the servers, etc etc. This one could be a very expensive white elephant for them with most of the world still using DSL. Not sure gamers want input lag in single player games.

Re: Wii U Hardware Still Being Sold At A Loss

You have to wonder how much Sony are gonna suffer selling the ps4 at its price, which they obviously did to under cut Microsoft. They lost $8 billion on the ps3, to put in to perspective it is more than their ps1 and ps2 profits combined.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Financial Results Tell a Tale of Two Systems and Bold Ambition

Wanderlei

Wii U has still sold more than ps3/xbox360 at the same point in their life cycle.

It really does not matter if you sell 4 million of a product in one month or its spread out evenly over the six months. The only problem has been the slow and uneven release of content which explains its slump in sales.

They are obviously aware of this and are stacking the second half the year with significant games. They will likely make up for the slow first half of the year and then some.

Re: Soapbox: When It Comes To Software Support, The Grass Isn't Always Greener

Wanderlei

Thats the thing, games people buy Nintendo systems for are exclusive to Nintendo platforms. Xbox/PS/PC now share 99% of the same content and there is not enough market share for all to be huge success. Meanwhile Nintendo do their own thing and remain profitable despite the size of their use base, something the like of sony never manage.

@Maneauleau Responsible for the highest selling nintendo home console (Wii) and highest selling portable and all time highest selling game system (DS). Has set Nintendo up financially for the next 50 years. Iwata is a genius.

Wanderlei

@Subie98 @banacheck That never happened, it was people turning off the Wii U during updates.

Nintendo delay a update - Nintendo suck, they are doomed.

Sony brick consoles with a OS they have had for entire gen -
Sony are the best.

Re: Iwata: Third Party Wii U Launch Titles Could Not Enjoy Brisk Sales As Many Were Ports

Wanderlei

3rd parties always do this, ship late ports or shovelware then complain it doesn't sell. They have years and years of making it up to Nintendo fans. One or two token efforts, then giving up is not enough. They need to support Nintendo with constant flow of quality games and then they might sell better. They have treated Nintendo and their fans for doggiedoodoodingleberry for so long it might take a entire gen or two to make it up.

Re: Pachter: Nintendo Has Lost Its "Mojo"

Wanderlei

Patcher is a marketing front for Sony. So they can create headlines like 'Analyst says Sony will sell BILLIONS' or 'Analyst says Nintendo is DOOMED' and the chuckle loving 'gaming journalist' eat it up like the dunces they are.
