This sounds exactly like the game "AR Nosurge Plus". The characters in AR have song magic too. You don't TUNE with them but instead DIVE into them to for stronger bonds and explore the issues clogging their minds to unlock stronger song magic. There's a whole social aspect outside of combat that lets you improve the bond. Stella Glow is like word for word the same mechanics as AR nosurge except instead of being a sci-fi/fantasy game it is just a fantasy game. It's really weird. I liked AR but this literally sounds like the same game with a different skin. And probably doesn't have amazing music like AR does.
