@BensonUii I agree I thought/hoped we might of got Fire Emblem Warriors shown at E3 2015. Although unlikely could this possibly be a game shown on a direct for the Wii U that works with the Mobile Game
I don't get why everyone is going mad about E3. Nintendo will not be on stage (as normal for the past few years), only having 1 game playable on the show floor is surprising but remember this is Zelda one of the biggest franchises in gaming! Also there maybe other games shown to the press (remember Star Fox). We also are yet to hear anything about a Nintendo Direct being held during E3 and history favours this happening again, I also believe we will have some sort of event like the Smash/World Championships of previous years
kind of doubt the hybrid model for the NX, it would kind of be a "up yours" to those who have a New 3ds. But i think it will have solid connectivity with the New 3ds and tablets/phones with parts of home games being playable on them, I hope it will be backwards compatible with WiiU games and the gamepad but alternatively you could use the New 3ds screen instead. Complete collections of Smash & MK8 would be a good idea for launch titles if they also have Zelda and Mario Galaxy 3 plus maybe some sort of collection bundle (say Modern Warfare 1, 2 & 3 + all DLC) as an exclusive
After thinking some more about this digital event, I'm still disappointed but I have a feeling Nintendo will rush out a direct within the next month to try and put right the wrongs of this one. Im not saying it will have major news like a Zelda U release date but maybe some more footage and DLC announcements or Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon etc.
I just cant see how anyone at Nintendo could have thought this was a good digital event to show as a normal direct it would have been poor at E3 its unacceptable, know were near enough games, to much time on developers stories and games we already knew about!
Loved the puppet stuff but boy what a let down for the Wii U! This digital event won't motivate people to buy the console. Yes I want Star Fox and Mario Maker but I knew that before this presentation, I will get Woolly World when its cheap. Really feel Nintendo has let Wii U owners down this year AC Amiibo festival looks to almost a skin laid over Mario Party which is only meant to shift amiibo. Mario Tennis makes no sense its already on the 3DS Mario Strikers would have been a much better choice. Adding Amiibo to Skylanders could be a smart move but people are not going to buy a Wii U just to use them in that game. What has been going on at Nintendo last year they were possibly the star of the show this year the dud. Plus why waste time with a developers story on Wooly World when they did that last year, just lazy Nintendo
I think it will be a massive year for Nintendo, especially the Wii U. I hope we get Metroid, Animal Crossing, PunchOut, F-Zero HD (gamecube) and Mario All Stars 2 (1 game from each generation a part from this one). Plus the ones we know about Star Fox, Devils Third etc. Another DLC pack for MK8, info on Splatoon FREE DLC. Of course amiibo will get time, but doubt anyone will be able to find them when they come out. Biggest thing for 3ds will hopefully be Metroid plus the ofthers we all know.
How about his though what about being able to use the new 3ds to play 2 player splatoon locally on turf war/ranked battle? I doubt it could be done but how good would that be!
Although this looks real I have a doubt why would any code be installed now,we can presume they will be paid DLC so surely all code would install when you download them? Was code found for Mewtwo before it was available ? And Ryu (Who I wouldn't mind in Smash) sounds strange to me isnt Street Fighter an exclusive for Playstation now?
I agree I think they will release a 30th anniversary edition (All Stars 2 if you wil) but not the games @Thatguywhoets thinks. I think they will go for ones not on all stars with the exception of Super Mario Bros, I think it may include Mario world, Mario 64, Sunshine HD and possibly New Super Mario Bros Wii on from each console leading to this gen.
Other than the ones we know about I think the following will be announced at e3 Wii U games: Metroid Animal Crossing Fire Emblem Warriors (Like Hyrule Warriors) Pokemon Tournament Pokemon Snap 3DS Games: F-Zero X 3D Kid Icarus 2 Mario Galaxy 3D (NEW 3DS only) DLC/Virtual Console 2x Smash Bros Characters (1 being Lucas) 5x Smash Stages Shovel Knight 2 1x Mario Kart DLC Smash Bros 64 Starfox 64/Lylat Wars
As long as Nintendo doesn't use DLC so it can rush out games like we see on other systems or lock important parts of games behind pay walls (Like Assassins Creed 2) I'm with them embracing DLC. Smash Bros fighters as DLC is a great idea although I think the price is a tad steep, especially if they release loads, Free-to-Play isn't for me. My worry is for Smash Bros is they may charge for stuff that had previously been shown such as Tournaments and the Miiverse stage. These were not shown as additional paid for DLC but I fear Nintendo will see money instead of rewarding initial purchase.
either that or its a marketing ploy, keep releasing stock slowly to keep people talking about the product and hope for high numbers of impulse/panic purchasing when stock appears.
This probably not true and rumour started by re-sellers, look at this way there will be a Animal Crossing game in the future and it will likely be amiibo compatible so, there is already a wii u fit and with a quick update amiibo support could be added with an update. These may be in short supply but they will get released when the games they are from are released/updated. The same can be said Kirby. As for Marth he is extremely popular amongst Smash players I would imagine that he will be the hardest to find (due to small amounts of stock) but will keep resurfacing in short supply from time to time
