@dartmonkey for what the Switch 2 offers I don't think anyone can really complain about the price at least here in the UK but I feel happy for US gamers thou $450? Ouch.
@RetroGames it definitely isn’t rushed out crap this is genuinely something special if you are a sonic fan and the Genesis was something special back in its day and the reason why it’s more fitting for it to be a Genesis cartridge is because the Genesis was Sega’s most successful console by far and my favourite Sega console by far so it makes sense for it to be on the Genesis rather than anything else because neither of these future consoles enjoyed the success the Genesis did and it’s a case of you had to have been there to appreciate the Genesis with sonic .
This is definitely a day 1 buy for me and one of the few times I’ll most likely get the physical US version which I have for Street Fighter collection.
@Drew250 I will support any developer who releases physical games, swapping cartridges is just like the in the early 90s and would rather a cartridge then a disc that basically acts as installer. Physical games matter!
@CornflakeCookie I’m a physical diehard So I preordered it, physical games matter and takes up less storage and will actually own my copy, I will always recommend the physical copy of any Switch game🤣🤣🤣
Definitely interested in this collection but I’ll wait for a sale as i already own the original Rocket Knight Adventures cartridge which is the best game in that collection.
@RainbowGazelle there’s not gonna be a sale and you’ll be kicking yourself when this game goes out of print but then I don’t think you want it that much anyway, your loss.
@SuntannedDuck2 I’ve been interested in this game ever since I saw the trailer and the September Direct and I did preorder it but that didn’t work out and I played the demo yesterday and I really like this game, I do have a little bit of a backlog but I only have a Switch and have no interest in PlayStation snd Xbox as my Switch is enough for me and don’t like how games are on those consoles.
@Jamessmooth I won’t because Zion didn’t review it and I adore this game, the character and the story, I played the demo and it says a lot that I downloaded the demo of this. This game won’t sell well because of average and poor reviews like this but then I don’t always go with reviews when looking to buy Switch games and this is one of those times to ignore the reviews. Especially if you haven’t played the originals like me.
@MagicEmperor the pacing helps me to be more engaged, I played the Demo and I’m definitely picking this game up, some of the the criticism I can understand but they also needed to bring the game up to date as well, I really really liked this game and I couldn’t put it down. I sympathise with Ashley who only wants to get to the truth about her dad.
Iit sucks that this middling review will ensure this lovely game will flop so to all those demanding Hotel Dusk they better buy this game then. @MontyCircus
I’m defo buying this, I think the review was somewhat disappointing and some of the criticism about this game are a tad harsh but then I don’t have any nostalgia to any of the games so maybe that’s why I’m more forgiving, I love the story which kept me hooked while playing the demo which is the first time I ever downloaded one on my Switch, You feel for Ashley and you sympathise with her with what she’s been through and I also really like the art style too.
I’m waiting for a sale to buy this on Switch as a long time Football Manager fan playing mostly on mobile, it’s good that the Switch version is decent, as I’m not going to invest in other platforms just to play a prettier version of the game, the Switch is the only system I have and is enough for me until the next Nintendo system.
@GamingFan4Lyf I look at the Switch hardware as a more powerful Xbox 360 and I’m sure the Tegra X1 has 4 cores and 4GB of RAM, remember it’s a portable system that you can play on your tv or in tablet mode and the Tegra X1 actually X86 hardware, yes you were complimentary about Metroid Prime Remastered but there’s really no need for people to keep saying the Switch underpowered we know this already when compared to the PS5 or Xbox Series X or even the PS4 and Xbox One but it’s a cut above the 7th generation of consoles and that’s good enough for me, the Switch is a remarkable and innovative system that has good quite a few impossible ports and Metroid Prime Remastered shows what the Switch hardware can do when designed around it and game freak can learn a thing or two from Retro Studios.
As someone who’s never played a Metroid game before, I’m looking forward to getting this on Switch, I know it’s been out for a few months now but this game shows off the full capabilities of the Switch hardware and the Tegra X1, they went above and beyond with this remaster, ordered my copy from Amazon for £26.99 (physical all the way) and I’m looking forward to adding this to my growing Switch library.
@GamingFan4Lyf the Switch is pretty powerful for what it is, yes it’s not as powerful as a PS4 or Xbox One but it’s more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3 and your comment comes off as patronising against the Switch, Metroid Prime Remastered shows exactly what the Switch hardware is capable when built around the hardware, Retro Studios really knows the Tegra X1 and the graphics really show of the capabilities of the Tegra X1, the differences are significant and you’d never think this was a remastered game.

Re: Review: Hotline Miami Collection - Ready Up For Some Of The Old Ultra-Violence On Switch
@Vriess and yet you’re happy for Sony to overcharge you for remasters of their old games right? Be objective for once in your life!
Re: Review: Hotline Miami Collection - Ready Up For Some Of The Old Ultra-Violence On Switch
I just picked up the physical version of Hotline Miami collection on Switch and it absolutely rocks and makes GTA look PG in comparison.

@MisterSmith then contribute and buy the game if for that reason.

@larryisaman middling review’s like this won’t help the sales of this game, they should have gotten Zion to review this instead.
