@ATaco They can be, but in this case it's not just Inafune's 1 or 2 bad indie games, before that he became well known for constantly criticizing Japanese game development while working at Capcom and pushing for franchises to imitate the West. So, even if it wasn't 100% just him, people also associate him with that weird Xbox 360 era of homogenized HD entries when a bunch of series lost their identity and original vision.
So even my first kneejerk reaction was, oh no please don't force Fantasy Life to lose its unique qualities. Or at the very least, pls be more like the excellent Nintendo Treehouse writing and not like Level-5's cringey reference-filled Snack World
Where do they ask these things!! I'm definitely a fan but it sucks that I only ever read about "fan feedback" after the fact, and usually coming from some nebulous source. How do I contribute?? Sorry it just always reminds me of the frustration of reading that Paper Mario Sticker Star was changed based on "fan feedback" from some random Club Nintendo forms.
@Gravitron I'm an American who legitimately enjoys them. I have merch from the ABBA museum decorating my apartment. I give you permission to count me as 50 people!
Wow, there sure are a lot of indie devs lately who are trying to recapture that old Paper Mario charm that was needlessly abandoned..... Hey Nintendo, does that suggest anything to you..? No....? Ok
@CharlieGirl I always feel like I'm the only one who loved that game way more than the other 3DS ones! So glad to see someone at least mentioned it. I just recently bought all of its DLC with hopes to remember to play through it again.
