My two year old Wii suffered from what I have seen referred to as "Wii Rot" where little pixels pop up all over the screen, especially over solid colors. I sent it in and five days and $80 later I got a new one from them. Had to re-download all my vc games, but the game saves were all there. Had to send in my GC while it was still under warranty because of a disc read error. Never had a single problem with my still-working NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, or my DS. The solution is clear: Go back to cartridges, Nintendo!
Oh man, no nudity?! They still kept the horrible objectification of women in there, right? Thank god! I can sleep easier knowing women are yet again set back another twenty years or so for the sake of a crappy poker game.
In order of most wanted: Earthbound Donkey Kong arcade Super Spike V'Ball SMW2: Yoshi's Island Super Mario Kart Punch-Out arcade and the debut of Star Fox 2 ...and I'm not buying a DSi until I can download some old GB and GBA games.
Metroid II was not just in some ways better, it was better in every way than the original. Its graphics were drasically improved, the world's atmosphere was vastly better, way better music, the game's progression seemed way more logical, not random like the original NES Metroid, the world felt expansive without always feeling lost, just a way, way better game, and still one of my favorite in the series. The control was far more comfortable as well, and it introduced a lot of concepts that are still in the series, like more morph ball upgrades and different mutations of metroids. And Donkey Kong should definitely be on this list.
What?! No! I'm getting pretty miffed at another week with no Zelda MM. And that I've been playing that Mixed Messages for years on a great invention called... paper!
