The models look incredible when upscaled and the backgrounds are drop dead gorgeous. Thank goodness these comments are showing more sense and taste. It doesn't seem to be a Final Fantasy VII, VIII or IX situation where no upscaling was done on the backgrounds to make everything look like ass.
This is exactly what this game should look like and its just as gorgeous as it was on PS1.
