@Dm9982 yeah it's a bit drab. You can cast spells after you learn them but I think there are only a few. But yes, mostly it's just hitting them with a staff. Some of the potions can change the combat a bit but not much, the combat isn't a huge aspect of the game, just a part of the mining.
@Dm9982 I play Stardew and the Harvest Moon games, in fact i basically only play those and pokemon 😅. Its similar to those type of farming sims in that you spend the days farming, foraging, mining, and fishing; also that you make friends and can get married (no idea if you can have a kids, i havent gotten far yet). It has a different feel than those type of games since there are different quests you need to complete to progress and a story line that it follows. There's SOO much that can be done (especially in the later chapters of the game), I'm glad for the longer days since that was why I stopped playing after a bit, I couldn't get enough done. I think if you like games like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and My Time at Portia you will enjoy this game.
