@SeantheDon29 Custom discs cost more to manufacture than using a widely available format that had been around since the previous decade. They weren't really being cheap not using CDs, also remember the N64 was more powerful than the Playstation and the Saturn which was the middle man in the 5th gen. So they definitely didn't cheap out on the N64 in any regard.
@Asaki Just Cause has both of those things, the glider in the form of Wing suits, lifts in the form of, well. Lifts.And did it before, and better than BoTW. I get the comparison, but I don't get the sentiment. Like "Metroidvania" is understandable since it was one of the first, and best at its respective genre, but BoTW was neither of those things, unlike other games in the Zelda series.
@Asaki Y'know PSO2: New Genesis came out in 2012 outside the US, before BoTW was even a thing right? If anything, BoTW went the PSO2 route. I never got why everyone compares open worlds to BoTW when many games did it both first, and better. I love Zelda as much as the next guy, but BoTW doesn't deserve this pedestal it's been placed on.
@PBandSmelly Chibi anime artstyle can work in psychological horror style, ever seen Madoka Magica? Looks adorable right? Give that a try and ask if that's really true.
