Re: The Nintendo Museum Is Now Complete, Scheduled To Open In The Fall

@PikaPhantom China has threatened Japan several times the last couple of years and buzzed Japan's borders recently getting a 'wee bit edgy'.

Their armed forces has beefed up to record levels and done all they could with peace time laws. All abled men have been ordered to be 'ready' should the crap hit the fan which I hope doesn't. I go to China Uncensored for their economy news time to time to see what's unfolding as a source since they go deeper then what the MSM shows which is pretty much garbage especially MSNBC type news.

Re: Nintendo Direct June 2024: Time, Where To Watch, What To Expect

Sakogha

The people who do these directs are NOT the ones in charge of the company. Their are people much higher in the brackets then they are and they see world economic trends and what's going on and call the shots. In other words if you have any beefs about the directs DO NOT throw it at them they just run the dang show and make sure the show isn't out of sync.

Obviously they (the higher ups) feel unsure about not just releasing the successor to the switch but even mentioning it to the public and based on what I've seen I can pretty much tell why they are hesitant as most gamers don't pay attention to what's really going on outside of the MSM media circles that downplay things going on across the globe.

On a generous note: At least 85 percent of our news is blacked out what we see is garbage and should be labeled as 'entertainment' news all the he said/she said sound bites. 💩

@Ashina Right now A LOT of electronic factories are fleeing China by droves meaning a lot of chip and motherboard production has been temporarily halted (barring any major economic events) as they restart with new factories elsewhere that ISN'T China.

Fox Con where Nintendo and Apple (and a bunch of others) assemble parts to be sent to their respective places is permanently closed. Yes that's the place where workers jumped to death many years ago and special barriers were placed.

@AstroTheGamosian I think the world wide virus and other events have eternally kicked that can down the road to where now Nintendo likely is going for the Switch 2 so it won't be so stupid to play. Meaning they overauled the entire thing assuming it's still even a thing.

I saw the Nintendo offices in a video once and they work in tight quarters which was forbidden for at least 2 years post C0VED making productions almost impossible. I bet their remote work situation was just as crappy as their gaming internet because Nintendo just plain sucks at online so I bet workers were frustrated having to do things very slowly eating up precious time. I think that's the real reason TOTK got stuck in development hell for so long. Clear/precise communication for a good bit of it was likely hard.

They are just now recoupoing for it which is why we had so much Animal Crossings because it was easy to make and a fail safe. Plus the lockdowns meant people would be more willing to play online with each other with nothing else to do.

That's when so many were milking the farm games to death as cheap asset flips with some gold titles buried in the mix but loud fanboys drowned them out defending the crap.

@Axecon Japan has been going thru a lot of internal #$!#@ lately so I think they (someone) higher up is seeing ahead and are going to go for broke. It will be make or break for them whatever their decisions are from here on out. Japan has had a lot of political and military issues for a while now and they know it and are feeling the squeeeeeeeeze to imitate a certain Goron.

@Fizza Some of them actually weren't rumors but the changing 'world situation' going on has forced their hand. I think the Switch OLED was originally going to be the Switch Pro (a major upgrade) but again the world situation going on has forced their hand so the Bloomberg leak was right in a way. Bad timing changed things.
