Dear Nintendo and Reggie, No unified account system = no retail downloads from me.
As things stand right now, physical games tend to become cheaper as time passes. While digital games usually keep their original price. Do you really think I'll pay R$150 (about $60) for a launch game when I can buy it at a store or e-tailer for R$100 or less? (about $40).
Retail games in Brazil are absurdly expensive, I can't afford to throw money on anything before being absolutely sure it's worth it. Good thing digital-only games on the eshop don't suffer from this.
I agree that DK64 had too much collectibles, but I still loved it. Banjo-Tooie was much more balanced and polished in my opinion. Collection platformer is still one of my favorite genres and I'd love to see it come back to the spotlight!
Wow, this is very interesting, but at the same time I'm not surprised. When I played Conker's Bad Fur Day I couldn't believe that such a big game full of voice acting didn't require the expansion pak. Rare sure knew how to work with the N64!
@pinta_vodki I was going to comment a similar thing regarding the puzzles.
They are supposed to work that way. I have the PC version of both games and I love the possibility of solving puzzles in different ways. It is a physics game, so this is expected!
Good to know they kept MK Wii's drift system (or at least it's similar). Snaking ruined my online experience with MK DS. Looking forward to playing this with NintendoLife people!
Can't wait to race you guys! I just hope MK7 doesn't get delayed like Zelda SS - no official launch here until December 15th... =( Bloody bad country for gaming...
That's simply amazing! I'm so proud to be part of this community! =P Can't wait to see "Favoritos de Nintendo Life" on the Brazilian eShop! And I agree with the list. I've already have some of those games and others are in my wishlist!
DKCR is simply amazing. The graphics, sound, amazing level design and excelent difficult level. Retro's got it all! Can't wait for DKCR 2 set in the Tiki homeland like DKC 2.
I love Echoes! I managed to beat this twice in a row, normal and hard mode (extremely challenging, BTW). And @Nekogao , I have always compared these games too. It's like Majora's Mask and Echos used only the same basic gameplay and expanded with new ideas and gameplay mechanics that are different from the "canon" games.

Re: Nintendo Considering Cross-Buy eShop Purchases, But Doesn't Have Anything To Announce Yet
Would definitely buy more VC games if they were cross-buy. And... "if developers demand it"? Really?

Re: Review: FAST - Racing League (WiiWare)
Great review! I've always been a fan of F-Zero so this review made me buy this game, and I can only say do not regret it even a bit!
