Grabbed it last night and other than needing to rotate my tv 90 degrees for tate mode this is epic. I can get rid of the xbox360 now and finally use only current gen(other than jamma rainbow islands obvs).
eBay already has a few unit for sale at double the retail price I see... 😱 Also shocked to see how much original g&w units go for. I had them all except for spitball sparky and crystal climbers back around year 2000 and I needed some quick cash so gave them to my younger brother for £100 loan. When I could not repay him he sold them on at local game shop in Bournemouth and got £150 for the lot! A whole carrier bag of retro history sold and he thought he got a good deal as he made 50 quid🤬 Most of the boxed to some degree. If only I had a delorean now...
Finally something on the switch that lets me use my hori hayabusa arcade stick. Admittedly the coin and player 1 start buttons on the side are fiddly but two little stick on buttons to distinguish them from others has unleashed the shooting and fighting fun. Last night I finished forgotten worlds!!! I had this pcb for years in the cabinet and could not get close to finishing it. Unlimited virtual money certainly helped. So many good titles here. Bubble bobble and money puzzle exchanger move aside. There is a new game in my slot. If only taito could do something similar with their library of arcade gems too! Nice...
I loved this game on Neo Geo. when I got a jamma machine I had this on snk multi cart and there was some slow down which was passable as it gave you a chance to assess the oncoming cutesy flyers. But on the switch the slow down makes it almost unplayable!! I stuck with for 25mins and have given up. Unless there is a setting I am missing but it cannot be down to switch hardware specs. Perhaps a dodgy emulation? Please patch this game and sort out the slow down!!!!!!
