@Nookingtons Games didn't use rtx back then. It didn't even become a thing until 2019 when they announced it. Reflections were simple back then and sometimes just had the same character model there to simulate a reflection in the mirror or water. Mario 64 was notorious for this effect in the mirror room. Games using actual "reflections" happened later on than these early n64 titles. The texture in the Dark Link room though? It's just not displaying right, hence the water looking weird.
@Nookingtons I'm not a speedrunner and I noticed Ocarina of Time on Switch has no fog in most cases where it should be such as the Dark Link room. The water texture is also weird as well in there. The input lag is noticable in handheld mode too. It's also easy to have that low of hearts in the game like that screenshot because you can just leave after beating a boss without grabbing the heart. It actually makes Dark Link easier when you have less health. I have played the game with only three hearts before, not speedrunning it since I'm not that good so it was hard. Just saying. Nintendo does need to fix their emulation settings for games. Frame drops are common too.
