Just finished playing this and I'm not afraid to say I shed a tear at the end, for catharsis more than anything. I've played a bunch of similar games and this is absolutely on point for games like this - properly plays like a short story and I was genuinely apprehensive as to the ending, but it worked out - which I felt So Good about. Excellent writing, excellent design - and a good price.
And you're entitled to it, and since you wrote it here - I'm also entitled to disagree with it and debate it. Also I've only had a Switch Lite for a fortnight, so I'm playing catch up.
@ThanosReXXX but it's not Abzu though, the point of it is manipulating what you can see on the UI. If you want something else buy a different game. Rubbishing it because it's not the game you expected is just churlish. It's not a missed opportunity because this IS what the game is aiming for, this paradigm.
I've only had my Switch Lite for a couple weeks so far, and I'm concentrating on Zelda: BoTW, which seems to be as awesome as everyone says. I've also been playing some Blades - which, actually, I'm quite enjoying...
@Darknyht but the point is that you don't have to waste money on it though, it's playable without spending money. Folks still have to voluntarily give it money, it doesn't automatically take it out of your wallet.
Currently playing it, it's ok actually - you don't have to pay, it scratches a Skyrim-shaped itch until I get round to buying its big brother on my shiny new handheld, it looks decent enough, and actually its quite engaging for an hour or so a day... Personally I think the review is a bit on the harsh side.

Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Switch)
Yeah I know, late to the party - but I am absolutely getting this. And I've played it countless times on PC - but it feels right on the Switch.
