I was so depressed this week to be reminded that the most played software on my Wii U, by a huge margin, was Netflix. I’m a CrunchyRoll subscriber, and it’s just my personal preference, but I’ll probably keep my Switch free of video apps and leave it a dedicated gaming machine
Again with NL’s obsession with mods, hacks and whatnot. It’s not like it’s the Wii U days and news are slow. What’s going on? Is this just to feed the excitement/frustration loop when the hack inevitably gets taken down? If this is what’s generating the most site traffic maybe it’s time to get my news from somewhere else.
What the hell is up with the stupid accents in the voice-over in this game? They sound so jarring especially coming from the top-notch acting in Hades - also about Greek mythology but minus the patronizing attitude toward non English-speaking cultures.
Uhm, that's definitely the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario 3, so at least it makes sense to be played with a SNES controller... Then again, it's not included with the SNES Mini.
Great to see someone agrees with me on this matter! It's so easy looking past how flawed gameplay was on many of those first 3D platformers through our rose-colored goggles. Having skipped two generations of Nintendo hardware (never had a N64 or GCN), I was utterly amazed by Mario Galaxy, but never got around to actually finish the previous 3D Mario games for all the reasons stated in this article.
Having said that, I think you might be setting people off by calling it a "bad game". It's certainly not, especially compared to whatever else was out when it got released. Its shortcomings might be glaring nowadays, but the same can be said about most retro games, I suppose.

SA2 is the best 3D Sonic game, unsurpassed all these years. The soundtrack is chef’s kiss. I want a HD remake so bad.
