Of course the review here is going to be positive. With a name like Nintendolife what do you expect? But I can honestly say this game sucks. Yes, I bought it. Yes, I played it. Yes, I beat it. And I'm never touching it again. It honestly looks like a game that started out as something else and then Nintendo slapped the METROID name on it and tried to add it to the brand. I'm 43 years old. I received the NES as a Christmas gift back in 1987. I was in 8th grade. And METROID was my first game. I've been a huge fan ever since. And Nintendo just took a big steaming dump on us by by putting out this crap game on the 30th anniversary of METROID. I'll keep the game just to add to my collection, but I seriously doubt I'll be playing it again. Consider the $40.00 I paid for this game as a contribution to the next METROID game that hopefully Nintendo will make for the fans. You're welcome.
