I don’t believe it for a few reasons.

1. One of the big bosses at Nintendo said there will be no more delays

2. The game is listed for Sunday, Nintendo first party games come out on Fridays.

3. The same site also has Metroid Prime 4 listed as a 2019 game despite the delay.

4. Nintendo doesn’t usually release their big games in the same month. They space out their releases.

Oh well. That’s their own fault. Blame the fans. They didn’t have enough third party games and only three major releases, the worst part is the fans. They need to release an upgraded Switch by the time the next Xbox and PlayStation systems arrive or the Switch won’t even reach 40 million.

@Roam85 None of those those games reach the sales numbers or success that FFVII did. No one knew what Earthbound was until Smash came out. Smash made a lot of franchises known when they were long forgotten, Cloud became an icon because of his game that once again, put JRPGs on the map.

Where are the people who said the Switch would fail?

@Mrtoad While Dragon Quest is historically important for bringing RPGs to the gaming scene, Final Fantasy VII was the game that put JRPGs on the map & Cloud Strife is a bigger icon than any other FF or Dragon Quest protagonist.

He’d be really good, but let’s not repeat the Nintendo rumor cycle which is, but not limited to:

1. Seeing one minor thing on a page
2. Believing it may be something coming soon
3. Start making speculations and believing leaks
4. Whatever was believed turns out to be false
5. Everyone gets mad at Nintendo

@GKO900 uh... Any true Dragon Quest fan would wait for the definitive version with more marriage options, more scenarios and hopefully orchestrated tracks & who knows what else

I hope the video quality is a result of how YouTube lowers the quality of videos, because this looks blurry. I knew it wasn’t going to be as sharp as the PS4 version, but come on.

Animal Crossing, Yoshi, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Town, Pokémon, are all coming this year. I remember Breath of the Wild being delayed many times, then it was released to critical acclaim and is one of the best games ever. I’m glad it’s being delayed. Before anyone tries to throw a hissy fit, look at Fallout 76. That’s what happens when you rush a game.

How hard is it for people to understand that this product is for kids?
