Absolutely agree with you @KateGray . At the time the stylus controls were a revelation & the issues with the Ocean King dungeon have been waaaay overstated imo. I think my fave handheld Zelda is ALBW but PH is definitely in the conversation.
Off top of my head: Klonoa Sin & Punishment: SS Galaxy 2 Xenoblade Resi 4 Punch Out!! WiiWare: And Yet it moves & Cave Story. Soft spot for ghost squad for dumb score chasing action, Little Kings story & SSX Blur underrated (I liked the controls once I got used to them). Also maybe Rodea, Broken Sword, Zack & Wicki, Prime trilogy. Yikes actually a great library on Wii! Probably forgotten quite a few and lots of great wiiware lost to time..
Majora's Mask, Pefect Dark & F-Zero X clear top 3 for me. Would have liked to be able to vote for Mega Man Legends & StarCraft 64. Yeah would have liked to see 1080 in top 50, also Duke Nukem: Zero Hour and maybe Pokemon Puzzle League (Panel de Pon still best though!).
@basilpesto great nod to ONM with the Wispa Golds call. I think I'm still following your hair on Twitter! A better time to be a gamer now but boy I still miss the print mag days..
@scully1888 I would love to know when the review embargo lifted for this game. My guess is the publisher tried to pull a swifty by lifting it very close to release hoping for a few very positive first reviews based on some lazy 30 min playthrus. Probs just me being cynical though!
@impurekind side-note but interesting you use that example as from memory (sketchy) Nintendo Life started out from that very website which solely focused on Virtual Console reviews before release of Wii.
haha, baffled by the comments here. In my mind a perfect mini-review as it informs me that personally I won't bother playing the game but it may be fine for some who are after a short experience with great presentation. If it had scored a 6 or 7 people would just say they will give it a miss due to backlog, but because it scores 4 they fell a need to defend it? Strange world, maybe just ignore the score and read the words. Ahh crap, the time time it took to type this I could have played 1/1000000th of the DQXI demo for free
Kelvin, your thoughts about 3D brought to mind Tetrisphere which is a very underrated title IMO. An update on that with motion controls could be pretty sweet...
Hey E-dawg: I remember the SMS being pretty popular in AUS but not as much as the NES. It was def a lot more popular in AUS than in the US but didn't quite take off like it did the UK.
As Shigsy smugly watches sales of SMB2 roll in, Luigi has a sudden pang of anxiety as he realizes that a very important 'sprite swap' may not have, in fact, taken place...

Bionic Commando is still one of the best of all time. Severely not talked about enough
