@VeeFlamesNL Piranha Plant Slide is nice too. That's about it though... And the main reason I didn't like Maple Treeway was probably just because it was on a 3DS and I felt that it was a course more suited for the Wii. Not a great reason, but just my opinion.
@Jazzer94 I have to agree with this. None of the nitro tracks really wowed me like, say, Airship Fortress or Maple Treeway did, and somehow, the retro versions of these tracks lost that charm that they had when playing them in their respective games. I basically only ever go near the Star cup, Music Park (Melody Motorway), and maybe Rainbow Road or Bowser's Castle.
These videos do NOT do a good job of instilling confidence into the viewer. :/
In all seriousness, I am honestly not sure if I would be able to enjoy this game based on how complex it appears to be. I would like to try XC before this one, but we'll see.
@Xjarnold Well, not only has it reappeared in NSMB2 and SM3DW, but it can also be found in spinoffs like Mario Kart Wii and the upcoming Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash!
