@fishman100 Don't worry about that, I upgraded a couple of month ago and the transfer process was very straightforward. It can take some time but everything is transferred: save files, games, demos, videos, eShop funds... Just follow the simple instructions when you turn the XL on for the first time.
@kasplat I agree. Not very interested in the game for now, but I'm curious to see what it will work on home consoles, as this seems very much designed for iOS from the ground up.
@sleepinglion I agree. I don't know if you've noticed, but I've even seen a huge step forward in the last updates with the image quality in wii mode. At launch it looked awful on my screen, all blurry and stretched out beyond screen limits. But now it's MUCH better. The image is crisper, at the right "size", and no deformations whatsoever. So yeah, a simple VC port of gamecube games would be ok I guess. On the other hand, seeing how gorgeous the WindWaker remaster looks, I wouldn't mind the same thing with luigi's mansion or mario sunshine But with nintendo you never know... after ocarina and star fox I thought we would see N64 ports for 3DS on a regular basis, but to my knowledge there's not been anything since (excepted DK Country Returns from the Wii).
The Caribbean setting is so much more appealing to me than the previous one. AC3, I agree it was kind of boring... For me it wasn't much the story or characters (the father and the mentor are great characters) but the lack of challenge and the feeling of being hold by the hand the entire time... and at the same time, there are things that you're supposed to figure out by ourself that I barely even used (the villagers thing, and hiring assassins).
The youth of Connor was so brilliant though, I loved that part.
For AC4 I just hope they do a better job of introducing you new mechanics instead of explaining for the 6th time in 6 years every basic mechanics.
@sleepinglion Correct me if I'm wrong but is there anything left to release that could tie to the year of luigi (beside mario 3d world)? I agree, it would be a perfect fit! People loved luigi's mansion 2 and value for the first one is going up, people want to play it! But I can't shake the feeling that nintendo will try to keep gamecube games away from VC, and instead release them as HD remakes... or if not wait a long time to do so. Heck, we're still waiting for GBA on 3DS!

Re: Jam With the Band 3DS Title in Development By Intelligent Systems
I would love this to come to europe. Seems like a perfect fit for the eShop.
The Vocaloid feature should be a ton of fun.

Re: New Assassin's Creed IV Trailer Shows Edward Kenway At His Stealthiest
@ScorpionMG If I remember correctly from AC3, Haytham grew up away for his dad and became a templar during while traveling in Europe.
Re: New Assassin's Creed IV Trailer Shows Edward Kenway At His Stealthiest
@ScorpionMG He's not in AC4, as it takes place before he was even born. The main character is his grandfather.
