Re: Talking Point: How Do You Store Your Games Collection?

Marle

So I still keep all my NES, SNES, and N64 games in the original cartridge holders I got for them way back when, and they all fit into the TV stand I got in 1988 to hold my NES and TV. I have no idea how this piece of furniture has survived so long, it’s now in its 5th home. On top is a cheap HDTV along with all my Classic Mini consoles.

Next to that is an ugly bookshelf that features 9 cubes (3x3) holding 6 consoles in the top two rows (2 NES’s, SNES, N64, Genesis, Super NT). The bottom row holds my NES Advantage, U-Force, and DS/3DS games. I’m going to have to make room for my Pocket Dock which is shipping next week, and I still have a Genesis that is packed CIB in my utility room. On top of this shelf is my Lego NES and 7 different colored N64 controllers.

Next to that are two nightstands (we got a new bedroom set so put the old to use). On top is my CRT and ROB. One drawer holds all of my instruction manuals. The rest of the drawers hold Lego instructions.

Then I built shelving from PVC trim I got at Home Depot to display all my boxes that completely cover 3 walls.

The 4th wall has custom built shelving to hold my Lego collection.

I’d love to share some photos but don’t know how to upload them to this site.
