Good review. I saw this game featured in a magazine aboout 2 years ago, the column was about overseas VC games. glad its finally released here- cant wait to download it
The Wii version is basically a port of the DS version. Half the city is stuff you got in Wild World. And no AC sequel will ever equal the Gamecube original. It didn't need wifi, because it was packed full of stuff that, sadly, didn't return in the 2 sequels. (Raffles, statues, train station, Porter, NES games, igloos, summer campers, morning aerobics, actually interactive neighbors).
Kind of a rip off for 1500 wii points.... I got this game with some add-ons and it kept me entertained for, like, 4-5 hours... It was addicting for a few days, then it got boring. not worth $15 imo.
I'm a hardcore Animal Crossing fan, and this is my least favorite entry in the series. It's basically a port of Wild World with the "City" added to it. Not enough new features. The online play is slightly better, but overall it really isn't worth it. Do yourselves a favor and get the original (best in the series imo) or the DS version. I'd give it a 5//10 if you've owned previous games, and a 7/10 if this is your first time.

Re: Review: 1080 Snowboarding (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
I never really got into this game, but an 8/10 seems a little high. A 7/10 is more like it.
Re: Review: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES)
No... they've always been 500. SNES is 800 and N64 is 1000 (not including all the other platforms available on VC).
Might check this out, if anything it will be just to get a piece of 8bit Zelda history.
Re: Review: Kirby: Canvas Curse (DS)
Awesome game, but I sold it long ago..
Re: Samurai Shodown II
I'll definitely be downloading this. It looks amazing.
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
I have Melee and Brawl (and I've played SSB on an emulator), so I probably won't be getting this. Seems kind of like a waste of points to me..

No. You have it so, so wrong...

Re: Even More Nintendo Titles Get The Axe
no more warioland? weak...
Re: Nintendo Download: 4 January 2010 (North America)
I'm getting tired of all the shovelware-wiiware. A lot of them look awful, and get horrible reviews. FF3 looks okay I guess.
Re: Phantasy Star IV
I might wanna check this out... idk. I've been getting into RPG's lately, and I've heard some good things about this.... idk.
Re: Review: Wii Sports: Resort (Wii)
This game is really fun. I got this in september and I still have fun playing it.
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
I own both Brawl and Melee, and seeing as I've played the original on an emulator, I'm probably not going to get this one. Kind of a waste of $10 imo.
Re: Phantasy Star Ø
I want to get this game so bad.. the online play looks amazing!

Re: Review: Super Mario 64 (N64)
Can't call yourself a Nintendo fan unless you've played this game. Definitely a must have for 1000 wii points.

Re: Review: NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Wii)
The controls were bad. I sold it on ebay right after I bought it...
Re: Review: Super Mario World (SNES)
I remember liking the game much more when I played it on my GBA when I was like 7.... It feels weird now for some reason..
