I see what you are saying but i'd still contest most modern games play better than 'retro' games (i'm not sure how games i played as a kid can be retro though, i'm not that old, unless...maybe i am....) but Yes, Nintendo games generally hold up better than others. I support what they tried to do (list only games that still hold up being played today) but i would be interested to know how many older games they did play.
Looking at other 100 best games lists Polyogon (for example) have (in there top 500 games of all time) manic Miner at 97, GTA 3 at number 12, SMB 3 at number 2, so what i'm trying to say is while i enjoyed all at realease (and SMB 3 recently) there are really no games in the last 29 and a bit years that are better?
@NaviAndMii No, you are right, they said straight up sequeals so yes, SMB 3 would be applicable (I'd go for Super Mario World over SMB 3, even though SMB 3 was more of a revalation in gameplay), but on another note, please name a game on the list that isn't worth playing, Today, if the list is utter garbage
