The game was a bit of a bummer for me. I’ve enjoyed the series since I first played The Blazing Blade as a kid, so I was looking forward to seeing Lyn and Hector again but the story itself (or lack of story) and the art style just didn’t work for me. It took me a while to get used to Three Houses because it was so different from the other games I’d played but I grew to love it. I wish I could say the same for this one but sadly the nostalgia-bait wasn’t enough for me.
