Who says the game is actually only **really** going to sell 50,000 copies..? Do I smell coporate trying to just shelve the game just because it might prove to be a little challenging to market to what now looks to have evolved into a niche community (DS) or am I in error?
Soo late to the party, but perhaps timely, I’m still playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. With my day job and all, I think I have enough to keep me busy until the sequel is released! That way it doesn’t feel like I’ve waited centuries.
I’d rather Nintendo take their time developing software and hardware until they think the new model is really going to be a gamechanger, just as the Switch first came into the market—because that means the value we’re getting is truly worth exchanging our hard earned money for.
I don’t want to buy into another ecosystem that’s going to make me feel like the lifecycle of the device is as short as Apple’s, with only incremental updates at a time.
