There was never any free update planned or released. This was misinformation that spread and unfortunately I was caught up in it. Several news outlets (including this one) ran with the story and made it seem like it was going to be released (and since had been) and it never happened. Game Mill hasn't said ANYTHING about an update, none of the videos, trailers, etc., mentioned it either. They are not releasing one. Do NOT buy the S1 version thinking you are getting a free S2 upgrade because it never happened. Very disappointed in the journalism especially since digital purchased from the eShop are non-refundable.
