@CommanderTaco no one should be trying to circumvent the system by stealing a product, same reason you shouldn't shop lift. That's the source of the problem.
@NFrealinkling exactly, I'm not sympathizing with anyone who got their console bricked. They knew what they were doing. Why should I give an f? Stealing is stealing. Nothing absurd about a company trying to protect their products. If someone gets away with it oh well, I don't care, but don't come back crying when you're caught. The only people complaining here are obviously the ones that want to do this or have been. Actual consumers aren't concerned about Nintendo bricking their switch since they're not part of the problem.
