Can’t see any mention of the in game micro transaction Nova Packs. Bit of an oversight for a review? £40 for the game plus micro transactions, should have been mentioned.
It was a good game, I played it for just over a year and enjoyed it but it got too busy with way too much events and banners going on at the same time. Basically spoiled it for me. The gacha was pretty generous compared to other mobile games.
It would make a great Switch RPG with some tweaks if Cygames go down that road. They’ve already done it with other mobile titles like Little Noah and Shadowverse so they have form. I don’t see them leaving this IP in the dust as a whole world and characters were created. Possibly the reason it’s getting shut down completely so fast.
Great game but the patch caused the game to crash twice on starting up. I had to uninstall the whole game and then redownload it before it would work properly. I can see some improvement but it’s still laggy as hell in some parts like loading screens and transitions.
It’s fair enough to criticise, although I do think it’s gone out of proportion. Honestly, the graphics haven’t bothered me one iota and if it hadn’t been highlighted so much online I doubt I’d have thought anything of it.
While I understand there is some desire out there to have access to games that wouldn’t run natively on the Switch, I personally would not pay full price for access to a cloud game as in the case of KH. That’s just wrong. A fair monthly fee to access a library of modern titles would be a different story 🤷♂️
Probably not a bad thing, I played for around a year and a half but the events, repeat events and everything else happening at the same time just got too overwhelming. Personally and for my own preferences they just did too much too fast and it went into overkill.
Inevitable at some point I suppose. Nintendo can’t support the older consoles forever. At least in the 3DS we have a still viable and very useable handheld with a ton of stellar and unique titles in its back catalogue.
I never had a Wii U but the 3DS is still a fantastic handheld, I’m playing through the original Monster Hunter Stories just now, and I collect physical for this and the DS. I just find it really inconvenient that Nintendo removed the UK credit card option so early.
I have different accounts over my 3DS console collection due to Nintendo’s complicated and restrictive system so I can’t fund everything through my Switch nor can I swap games from one 3DS to another and continue playing where I left off. This is something they should open up on legacy consoles.
There are still a few games I want digitally that are restrictive, price wise, on physical due to rarity and I find the voucher system a bit unfair as it means topping up more money than is needed.
