I've had the Playstation version forever, but never got to finish it due to my first gen PS2 no longer playing PS1 games. Now I get a chance to finish it.
btw, for those who don't know or are on the fence, this is a really great DQ title. Not only are there various worlds, but also a lot of other places and events that radically change as you progress. Probably one of the better storytelling RPGs out there that now a wide variety of DQ fans will have an easier chance of playing.
Picked up Liberation Maiden and not disappointed by it. It has some challenge to it, and the anime cutscenes and voiceover work are especially well done. This is one I'll be playing for a while, at least until the other Guild01 games come out here later.
I agree with Obvious78 ... something here is fishy. There's so many ways they could get Megaman back out there:
They could re-release Megaman Powered-Up on other systems as a 25th anniversary nod.
They could come out with a full 10-game collection of the originals on other systems
Heck, they could do what Square-Enix is doing for Final Fantasy, and release the entirety of Megaman games (Original, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends + Tron Bonne) with soundtracks and an art book in a glorious superset.
So, yeah, if CAPCOM doesn't do any of the above and XOver is really coming out as the 25th anniversary game... then, yes, Megaman is dead and buried.
Looks like a nice JPRG/Adventure. The "ghosts being an influence on attitude" aspect isn't quite new, since both the Shin Megami Tensei series and The World Ends With You use similar mechanics, but I would still want to check it for the variety of Japanese spirits and for what looks like a cohesive story.
I bought a Pokemon Pikachu 2 when it was brand new to interact with Pokemon Crystal on my Gameboy Color. I have all three still to this day. I recently plugged a battery into my PP2, and it's still working as it used to (well, except for a bit of deterioration of the screen elements, but that's expected considering its age).
Pokewalkers have been a step backward, for what you get in wireless interlink you lose in having a black-and-white screen instead of PP2's nice color one. If Nintendo revisits the idea, they should make a "Pro" version with a nice tiny LCD color display.
