@Quorthon I was referring to what MolluscMan was saying to you that only registering Download titles will get points and not registering physical titles, and that would be a huge fail which i agree with you. My bad i should have worded it better.
@Quorthon I Hope not because that would be a Big Fail in my Opinion. I also hope this new loyalty service has a more sleek and easy to use Website. Not saying Club Nintendo was hard to navigate or anything but i mean a more modern look.
@paburrows Unfortunately there is no Club Nintendo Code with the New 3DS. I checked many unboxing videos and it doesn't bring it. This issue is in all regions worldwide
It is sad to see Club Nintendo go away since it been around for a few years and have gave out great stuff from time to time. But yes it's been lacking badly in every region except japan. I think i have a feeling what this new Loyalty program might be. It will copy a system similar to the digital deluxe promotion in this new program. "Mr. Iwata have said back last year in January that Nintendo is considering a program to reward consumers loyal consumers, as an incentive to buy more by lowering purchase prices of games after a certain point"
Then he said...
Based on our account system, if we can offer flexible price points to consumers who meet certain conditions, we can create a situation where these consumers can enjoy our software at cheaper price points when they purchase more," Iwata said.
It sounds kinda like the Digital deluxe promotion, but instead of getting eShop funds back, they just lower the price for you for the next purchase you make. I could be wrong in this, but it feels like Nintendo is maybe forcing to go more Digital than Physical. I hope this new program will have physical rewards like Club Nintendo and able to still register Physical games as well.
Also I am new here on NintendoLife, Nice to meet everyone!! and i am excited to be part of the Nintendolife Family ^_^
